Connor Chun

Co-Director

Connor is a senior at Langley High School in Virginia, where he serves as the team’s head captain. He has acquired 19 bids to the TOC and been ranked as a top 10 team in the nation by the NDCA. He has won the NCFL Grand National Championship, New York City Invitational, UK Season Opener, Mid America Cup, Georgetown University Invitational, and consistently reached deep elimination rounds at others. He has received 15 top 10 Speaker Awards at national tournaments, including three First Place awards. He has led weekly instruction at his school’s team for three years, taught at NOVA debate, and privately coached nationally qualified debaters.

Sahil Gubbi

Co-Director

Sahil debated for 4 years at Langley High School, collecting 10 TOC bids, championing NCFL Nationals, finaling NOVA RR, semifinaling Durham and Villager, and quartering Princeton and Harvard. His team also won the Virginia State Championship. He has extensive coaching experience both privately and with camps like NSD, helping his students earn 6 TOC bids, champion the middle school TOC, and final Harvard in the MS division.

Aaron Tian

Aaron is a senior at Thomas S. Wootton High School with over six years of debate experience. A member of Team USA Debate, he has qualified to the Gold TOC three times, earned 15 bids, and ranked 10th nationally in 2023 and 8th in 2025. He has championed major tournaments including Grapevine, Lexington, Peach State, John Lewis SVUDL, and the NOVA Round Robin, and reached late elimination rounds at Harvard and UPenn. Beyond competition, Aaron has three years of coaching experience at NOVA Debate, Outreach Debate, and privately, where he has guided students to top finishes at NSDA Nationals, the Middle School TOC, and other national circuit tournaments.

Chris Tang

Chris is a senior at Montgomery Blair High School, championing Bronx, Durham, Harvard RR, Ivy Street RR, and Florida Blue Key RR while also finaling Emory, Dowling, and UK. This past season, he was ranked #1 in the Nation for TOC Bids. He has racked up a total of 14 TOC bids and has 3 years of coaching experience.

Ben Rask

Ben is a senior at Basis Independent Mclean, where he’s championed Columbia, the UK Season Opener, and the NOVA RR twice, while also being the Virginia state champion and reaching elimination rounds at TOC and Nationals. He has taught at NOVA Debate, Circuit Skillbuilder, coached privately, and is the captain of his school’s team.
